- Solution :LSR can be injected as thin as 0.1mm and yet flexes millions of times without breaking. It is a key enabler for flexible electronics, such as foldable displays, flexible electrodes, watch bands, and so on. The overmolding process merges multiple materials into a single part. Fewer parts mean simpler assembly, less labor, and lower overall cost.
Monitoring Accuracy
- Challenge:More computing power demands better cooling, yet thinner designs leave almost no room inside. Heat builds up because traditional rigid materials cannot fill odd-shaped gaps, which leads to performance throttling, accelerated battery aging, thermal runaway, and faster component wear—all of which shorten the lifespan of electronic products.
- Solution :Thermal conductive silicone offers softness, sealing, and thermal conductivity, which substantially reduces thermal resistance for rapid heat extraction by addressing the poor gap-filling and heat-dissipation issues inherent in rigid materials such as metals and plastics. Flame-retardant silicone encases battery modules to slow thermal spread, lower fire risk, and resolve safety concerns for consumer electronics.
Fit and durability
- Challenge:Environmental regulations like RoHS, REACH, the EU's carbon border tax, and WEEE are getting tougher. Traditional rubber and plastic materials are packed with halogens and plasticizers—making certification expensive and disposal highly polluting.
